Garbage cans are easy to ignore until they start to smell. Food waste, spills, grass clippings, yard waste, and summer heat can turn a normal trash bin into one of the worst chores around the house.

Outdoor Service Pros was created to help with that problem. We are a local student-run business serving homeowners in Otsego and Rogers, MN. We clean garbage, recycling, and yard waste bins after your regular trash pickup, when the bins are empty and ready to clean.

Our goal is simple: make your bins cleaner, fresher-smelling, and less gross to handle.

What Is Garbage Can Cleaning?

Garbage can cleaning is a simple outdoor service for the bins you already use with your regular trash service. Instead of dragging your bins around the yard and cleaning them yourself, you leave them out after pickup and we handle the dirty work.

We clean customer-owned bins from local trash haulers, including Ace, Randy’s, Republic, and others. Outdoor Service Pros is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any trash hauler.

We currently clean and deodorize bins. We do not claim commercial hot-water sanitizing or disinfecting. Some stains, old residue, paint, tar, or deeply stuck-on material may not come out completely, but the goal is a bin that looks better, smells better, and is less unpleasant to use.

How Our Bin Cleaning Service Works

The best time to clean bins is after your regular trash pickup. That is when your garbage, recycling, or yard waste bins are empty.

  1. Choose your cleaning package online.
  2. Tell us your trash pickup day and estimated pickup time during checkout.
  3. Leave your empty bins outside after pickup.
  4. We clean the evening of pickup day or the next morning.
  5. You get cleaner, fresher-smelling bins without doing the gross job yourself.

Our goal is to clean within 24 hours after pickup, as long as bins are empty, accessible, and weather allows.

What Bins Can We Clean?

We clean three common types of residential bins:

  • Garbage bins that collect food waste, spills, leaks, and odors.
  • Recycling bins that collect sticky residue from bottles, cans, and containers.
  • Yard waste bins that collect grass, leaves, dirt, and summer buildup.

Yard waste and garbage bins are often the biggest pain because they can smell worse during warm weather. Recycling bins can also get sticky and dirty over time.

Do You Need to Be Home?

No. In most cases, you do not need to be home.

As long as your bins are empty, accessible, and an outdoor water spigot is available, we can complete the service after pickup. During checkout, you can tell us where the bins will be located and add any special instructions.

How Much Does It Cost?

Outdoor Service Pros keeps pricing simple:

  • 2-Bin Cleaning: $50
  • 3-Bin Cleaning: $60
  • Summer Fresh Pass: $129 for 4 cleanings, up to 2 bins per visit
  • Extra bins: $10 each

For first-time customers, use coupon code NEIGHBOR20 for 20% off your first Standard 2-Bin Cleaning. That brings the $50 cleaning down to $40.
